03643 Goat Petroglyphs

These petroglyphs characterizing goats are found in a cave in Monument Valley. They were chipped into the sandstone wall by the Anasazi people. Places such as these which have special cultural and historical significance should be treated gently and with all due reverence to those who lived there before, and those who dwell in these areas today.
