This ancient Anasazi village, tucked in Tsegi Canyon in the Navajo National Monument, consists of more than 140 rooms hidden inside a huge cavern eroded out of the sandstone canyon wall. The reward for the hike down the steep canyon is awe: the time frames, both geological and historical, and how they differ so strikingly, are astounding.
